Chua Xin Yin v Nurdian Cuaca [2010] SGDC 540
The team led by Salem Ibrahim successfully acted for the celebrity Jamie Chua in a hotly contested matrimonial case involving a $92 million worldwide Mareva injunction (worldwide freezing order).
Oei Su-Lynn v Koon Boon Kin & Others – High Court Suit HC/S 1069/2020 (Judgment on 16th March 2021)
Novel case where the husband claimed that some members of his family were beneficiaries in a purported trust for certain matrimonial assets under an “Ancestral Home” agreement. This was to cause a substantial dilution of assets. The team at Salem Ibrahim LLC, for the wife, challenged his claim in the High Court and succeeded in getting orders that there was no such trust.

Phillip Avery Stanley v Mercer (Singapore) Pte Ltd - HC/OS 149/2018 (Unreported Judgement delivered on 17 March 2021)
Salem Ibrahim's team successfully fought in the High Court and obtained judgment against Mercer, the world's leading professional services firm. Mercer refused to pay contractual redundancy benefits to Phil Stanley. After robust cross-examination over a 6-day trial followed by submissions, the judge found in favour of Phil Stanley and ordered Mercer to pay the redundancy benefits together with costs of $240,000/- as asked and consented by Mercer together with interest rate at 5.33%p.a.
Carlo Giuseppe Civelli v Phillipe Emmanuel Mulacek [2019] SGHC 182 & [2020] SGCA 59
The team represented Phil Mulacek in both the High Court and the Court of Appeal. This was case on challenge to jurisdiction and forum. The underlying transactions were complex multi-jurisdictional spanning from Texas to Europe, Singapore and Papua New Guinea. Transactions value was near USD1 Billion
